About this API

FunTranslations is a fun service offering APIs to "translate English into fictional/novelty languages". The Star Wars set covers: Yoda (Master Yoda's inverted syntax), Sith (Sith language, dark side), Mandalorian (Mando'a), Cheunh (Grand Admiral Thrawn's language), etc. Essentially rule-based text transformation (not real translation): Yoda translation inverts English SVO to OSV, adds "hmmm" and "yes"; Mandalorian uses dictionary substitution. Pure novelty, but the API design is professional — hackathons, fan widgets, community bots all use it. Same company also provides Klingon (Star Trek), Elvish (LOTR), Pirate Speak, and other fictional languages. Free 5/hour, commercial use $9-49/month plans.
