Definition
A large language model is a type of AI trained on vast amounts of text data to understand and generate human language. LLMs like GPT-4, Claude, and Gemini power tools across writing, coding, search, and more. They predict the next token in a sequence, which — at scale — produces remarkably coherent and useful text.
